Canceling a Service
Need to stop your server subscription? Here’s exactly how to cancel through the SpookNode billing panel.
Step 1 — Go to Services
Visit billing.spooknode.com/services and log in with your billing account. You’ll see a list of all active services you own.
Step 2 — Select Your Server
Click on the server you’d like to cancel. This will open its service management page.
Step 3 — Choose Cancelation Type
Click the Cancel Service button. You’ll have two options:
- Cancel Immediately → shuts the service down right away.
- Cancel at End of Billing Period → your server will keep running until your current billing cycle ends.
At the time of writing, canceling immediately does not issue a refund. In the future, we plan to offer prorated refunds as account credits for unused time.
Refund Eligibility
If you’ve been using your game server for less than 7 days, you may qualify for a refund as long as requirements are met. See our full refund guide below:
Refund requests must be submitted through our help system. Once approved, your payment will be
reversed or credited back as per policy.
Important Notes
- Canceling is permanent — once removed, your files and progress are deleted.
- Always back up important files before canceling.
- If you’re unsure, choose Cancel at End of Billing Period so you don’t lose access right away.
Canceling does not automatically trigger a refund. You must request a refund separately if you qualify under our 7-day policy.
